Pinnacle Ridge Residence

This custom home was shaped by its hillside setting, with the main living spaces organized around light, views, and a strong connection to outdoor living.

Clean lines, restrained materials, and generous glazing give the house a contemporary character, while the plan keeps it comfortable, functional, and well suited to everyday family life.

Inkar Road Townhomes

Townhomes | Kelowna, BC | 2025

This completed eight-unit multi-family project was designed for an urban infill site in Kelowna, where livability, site planning, zoning requirements, and coordination all had to work together from the outset.

Organized as two townhouse-style buildings, the development balances efficient unit design, contemporary exterior character, and a clear, buildable response to the constraints of the site.

Gregory Road Residence

Renovation and addition | West Kelowna, BC | 2024

Designed as a substantial renovation and addition to an existing home, this project reworks the layout and expands the living space to better support day-to-day family life.

The design adds new area on both levels and ties the new work into the original house in a way that feels cohesive and well considered, while respecting the practical constraints that come with renovation.

This carriage house project was designed to make efficient use of a compact footprint while still feeling open, functional, and comfortable to live in.

The design balances efficient planning, a clear contemporary character, and a careful response to site and zoning constraints, helping the small footprint feel open and comfortable without becoming overworked.

Sugar Lake Cabin

Recreational cabin | Sugar Lake, BC | 2020

A recreational cabin on Sugar Lake designed as a family retreat on a steep hillside site, with the building shaped to sit more naturally in the terrain.

The plan and massing were shaped to work with the terrain, capture views, and create comfortable indoor and outdoor living spaces. Built entirely with insulated concrete forms, the cabin combines a straightforward design approach with durability and efficient performance.

Abbott Lakeside Duplex

Duplex | Kelowna, BC | 2014

A high-end duplex on Abbott Street in Kelowna, designed for a constrained lakeside site in the hospital area.

Strong horizontal lines, deep overhangs, and a substantial brick palette give the building a grounded presence, drawing on mid-century modern and arts-and-crafts influences while responding carefully to planning and site constraints.

Single-family home + garage suite | Kelowna, BC | 2021

A family home and detached garage suite added to an existing Abbott-area property while keeping the original dwelling in place.

Designed for a tight and irregular lot with converging setbacks, high water table considerations, and close site relationships, the project carefully balances infill density, neighbourhood fit, and practical family living.

Cadder Avenue House + Carriage House

House + carriage house | Kelowna, BC | 2021

A house and carriage house developed on a hospital-area infill site in Kelowna after the original home was lifted and relocated.

Shaped through extensive work with the City, the design aimed for a timeless presence that would feel at home among the area’s older houses, drawing on traditional forms, steep rooflines, and a restrained material palette.

A single-family home designed for an irregular sloping lot, where the house was carefully shaped around the site’s natural grade change.

The design balances practical construction, family comfort, and a sense of spaciousness, with a generous entry volume, an oversized garage, and a bright working pantry that helps the home function well day to day.
